Rogers Theater

The Rogers Theater was donated to the Presque Isle District Library in 2016. It is a great venue to hold our programs and events, as well as a wonderful space for the community to utilize for events.

    The Rogers Theater has been awarded a State Historic Preservation Office (SHPO) grant to help support the restoration and repair of the original theater marquee! Click here to read more about this opportunity to restore the marquee. 

    This special project fund will help the Presque Isle District Library repair and restore the Rogers Theater. 

    Checks can be dropped off at any branch location and made out to Presque Isle District Library.  Pledges can be made by contacting the Community Foundation of Northeast Michigan at the link on the Renovation web page. The Presque Isle District Library is proud to partner with the Community Foundation for Northeast Michigan.

    Rent the Rogers Theater

    The Presque Isle District Library, hereby known as, “The Library” encourages the community use of its Rogers Theater, hereby known as, “The Theater” for community gatherings including lectures, live music, community forums, film festivals, small theatrical productions, dance performances, literary readings, debates, and other creative uses.

    This Usage Policy is set in place and approved by the Library Board of Trustees.  The Library reserves the right to refuse the use of the Rogers Theater at its sole discretion.
