Join us for the next three consecutive Wednesdays starting on May 16th at 7:00 pm at the Rogers City Theater for the Popular Michigan Authors' Series

May 16th at 7:00 pm - Rogers City Theater      Author, Ron Rademacher writes about roadtrips to out of the way places in Michigan in Oddities & Rarities.Take a journey across the state to visit small towns that hide unique objects and mysteries.  Learn about the unexplained artifact in Ontonagon from the old Superior Mine, the ancient artifact in nahma, the Tomb of the Cow, the Sanilac Petroglyphs and more.  This popular program emphasizes the nearly forgotten Michigan history in Oddities & Rarities.  A book signing follows the program.

May 23rd at 7:00 pm - Rogers City Theater    Author, Sue Harrison is the author of six critically acclaimed bestselling novels, Mother Earth, Father Sky; My Sister the Moon, and Brother Wind make up The Ivory Carver Trilogy, an epic adventure set in prehistoric Alaska.  Song of the River, Cry of the Wind, and Call Down the Stars comprise The Storyteller Trilogy.  Sue Harrison is a nationally recognized novelist and calls the Upper Peninsula, home.  A book signing follows the program.

May 30th at 7:00 pm - Rogers City Theater   Author, Tom Carr's book, Blood on the Mitten:  Infamous Michigan Murders, 1700s to Present" will be featured.  Tom Carr is an independent writer and journalist in Northern Michigan who spent 25 years in daily newspapers, primarily in Traverse City Record-Eagle.  This, his second book deals with robbers, cutthroats, and thieves throughout Michigan's history.
