Lord of the Rings Trilogy

    My Parents first introduced my to the world of Middle Earth and I absolutely loved it.  The first book, The Fellowship of the Ring, starts the journey of Frodo and his companions.  Their mission is to destroy a ring of power.  The ring's powers will allow the wearer to have almost unconquerable might, but the Dark Lord wants it back.  This is the beginning of a long dangerous journey that continues on into the next two books, The Two Towers and the Return of the King.  Tolkien filled his story with unforgettable characters, plot, and dialogue.  These books are among the best ever written.
